I currently work in the area of traditional art, with paints, ink, and pencil being my most strong media. I also have a background in photography and digital art. I am very interested in political art and conceptual art, which is what I am mostly involved with in my free time.
I am also a researcher in the field on consumer culture research, in which I combine the fields of sociology, aesthetics, performance theory, and theatre studies. I am specifically interested in embodied and spatial experience of fantasy, imagination, and aesthetics, as well as the use of these for public pedagogy and critical reflection. My academic work has highly influenced and become intertwined with my artistic endeavours.
One of my biggest projects at the moment is combining art with research as a way of approaching knowledge from new perspectives and communicating it to wider audiences in engaging ways.
