I am an interdisciplinary researcher, working across fields of consumer culture, critical and political consumer research, sociology, anthropology, art therapy, fine art, and performance studies. My research interests include the lived experiences of fantasy, queerness, and political unrest. In doing research, I aim to engage the communities that I work in, thus giving back to society beyond the creation of academic knowledge.
I am a qualitative and interpretive research, having mainly used in-depth interviews and ethnography as my research methods. I am further actively using and developing art-based research methods, thus tying my academic work into my artistic practice.
